Pear and Blue Vein Salad

An amazing taste sensation made even more superb with the addition of Earthbound raw honey. Enjoy!




2/3 cup Earthbound Red Wine Honeygar
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp Manuka Honey
1 finely chopped garlic clove
Salt & Pepper to taste

For the SALAD

2 Pears
3 cups of rocket leaves
100g blue vein cheese
3/4 cup Walnuts, lightly toasted​
Honey to drizzle


Combine all dressing ingredients in a jar, shake well to mix.

Slice pears into thin slices or cut into chunks.

Crumble blue vein cheese or if preferred, cut into tiny pieces.

Roughly chop walnuts into smaller pieces.

Toss rocket leaves and pear pieces together in a large salad bowl. 

Crumble blue vein cheese over top and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.

Drizzle dressing over top and toss until the greens are lightly coated, adding more if necessary.
